Our Winter Departure Closing service goes beyond a standard departure check, providing additional seasonal precautions to help protect your lake home. **Our Winter Departure Closing service includes:** - Checking that designated doors and windows are securely closed and locked - Adjusting the thermostat to your preferred winter setting - Turning off designated lights, fans, and appliances - Checking visible plumbing fixtures for leaks or running water - Shutting off designated water supplies when requested and accessible - Draining designated outdoor hoses and disconnecting them from faucets - Checking accessible outdoor faucets and spigots - Securing outdoor furniture, decorations, and loose items - Removing household trash to designated disposal areas - Checking for visible drafts, moisture, or signs of potential problems - Performing a general interior and exterior property check - Sending a completion confirmation with photos when appropriate **Additional Winter Services Available:** - Storm and severe weather property checks - Scheduled winter property monitoring - Contractor and maintenance access - Special winter preparation requests **Service Fee: $125 per visit** *Winter Departure Closing is a seasonal property care service and does not include professional plumbing winterization, antifreeze treatment, repairs, or guarantees against frozen pipes or weather-related damage.
